Located along Highway 288 in Young, this family owned cabin lies on an historic 400-acre ranch. Whether you are in search of family fun or looking for a romantic retreat, you will find peace and quiet here in your home away from home. The cabin itself is surrounded by hundreds of acres of private land at a comfortable elevation of just over 5000 ft. Young is located 26 miles from Highway 260, about an hour and a half drive from Payson. Close to several major fishing lakes and creeks, hiking trails, and campgrounds. This is the spot to be for outdoor fun and relaxation. Dirt road travel is required sometimes 4x4 also. If you have never been to Young, please call for specific driving directions.

Located at the south end of town, there are two cabins available for rent. Look for the sign on the west side of Highway 288 just before you leave Young. Just south of The Antlers Cafe and Bar. Beautiful log home, features wood flooring, and a warm cozy wood stove. Beautifully furnished with nice modern upgrades but still with Young's western feel. The log house has a large kitchen with everything you will need to make family meals, baking and roasting pans plus every seasoning you'll need. Keurig coffee maker with refillable pod so you can use your coffee or our special blends. Tea maker, Magic bullets for smoothies. You name it, it's probably there for you! Large comfy chair with ottoman right next to the wood stove. Leather recliner, large screen TV, and internet for streaming. Warning! Once you sit down you'll never want to leave.
THINGS TO KNOW: Check-in: 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Checkout: 11:00 AM, self check-in with keypad / host will supply code before check in, not suitable for infants, no smoking, no parties or events, dogs must be approved by host.
ADDITIONAL RULES: We have 3 acres which is fenced suitable for horses.You may bring and keep your horses on the property for a extra fee $20 per horse. You will be required to clean up after your horses. Please check with us about your dogs. We do have kennel outdoors and some small dogs can be brought but never left unattended in the home. $20 fee, when pre approved. (Approval comes only from the host.)

An authentic Log home in the woods of Pleasant Valley, Young AZ. This property is located on 2.5 acres of wooded forest. Horses are welcome as the property is fenced, along with access to fenced turn out. Please contact host for details and trailering. The home also includes front/back yard fencing for young children, and dogs. Newly renovated through- out. Enjoy fishing/hiking in near by Woods Canyon Lake, Willow springs Lake, and several local creeks. Tons of off-road adventures await. Hunters - we are in Game Management Unit 23. Black bear, elk, javelina, Merriam’s turkey, mountain lion, mule deer, white-tailed deer, band-tailed pigeon, dove, tree squirrel, quail. Nearby shopping includes Buddi's gas station and Cherry Creek Store. During your stay be sure to visit Bruzzi Vineyard for award winning wine and lunch/dinner services you can't find elsewhere in the state. Relax and enjoy this beautiful setting.

We are a small ten unit motel in a small historic ranching town. I built the motel myself fourteen years ago and personally take care of ever aspect of the business including cleaning and individually decorating each room. Customers are very important to me and can expect to be treated like family. Each room has a fireplace, full coffee maker, fridge, and Direct TV. Otherwise, Young is a great place to relax in the country, go hunting or hiking, or get a big dose of Arizona History and the Pleasant Valley War!
